Terms & conditions

Last updated: 7 September 2026

These terms govern your use of fasthpicheck.co.uk (the "Site") and the vehicle history services we provide (the "Service"). By using the Site you agree to these terms.

1. The service

The Service provides vehicle history data for UK-registered vehicles, including outstanding finance, theft and police markers, insurance write-off history, mileage records, MOT history and vehicle specifications, drawn from the data sources listed on our homepage.

2. Reports

Reports are generated from data available to us at the time of purchase and reflect the records we hold or can access. We work hard to keep data accurate and up to date, but we cannot warrant that any report is free from error, omission or delay. Reports are for your information and due diligence only and do not constitute advice.

3. Payment

Full history checks are payable in advance by card through our payment provider (Stripe). Prices are shown at the point of checkout and include VAT. Payment is taken once; reports are not sold on a subscription basis.

4. The £30,000 guarantee

If our full report fails to reveal an outstanding finance agreement, a police stolen marker or an insurance write-off that was recorded against the vehicle before the date of your check, and you suffer a direct financial loss as a result, we will compensate you up to £30,000. The guarantee is subject to the conditions set out in our disclaimer and excludes losses arising from information not available in our data sources at the time of the check.

5. Your responsibilities

You must be at least 18 to buy a report. You may only use reports for the vehicle in question. You may not resell, redistribute or publish the contents of a report without our prior written consent.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the report in question, or, where the guarantee applies, the guarantee amount. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
